You need to have some plan and some tricks up your sleeve. They would have had more Estuses, better equipment and, most importantly, they would already have had number advantage. If you were about to fight against them with the items you found in the area you're invading in, you would be just smashed into the ground.
At 90% of the time it means that these phantoms are over-leveled. Sometimes, phantoms will be password-summoned phantoms. In typical invasion, you'll encounter one host and one or two phantoms. It clearly seems like Twink has huge advantage over host. Now, compare it to a Twink who has (as an experienced Invader) 7 +10 Estus Flasks and some of the items mentionned above. At these SLs, host has just basic equipment and usually about 5-6 unupgraded Estus flasks, not to mention that it's usually a new player. See, in PvP, especially at low-levels (I'm talking about SL1-SL20 bracket) Twinks have clear advantage over host and his phantoms.
Originally posted by PolishNirvana:A twink, in terms on DS3, is a low-to-mid level character who has access to end game items.Ī twink character can use any of the end game items it got, this includes Prisoner's Chain, +3 versions of the rings, maxed Estus Flask and some other things.Īll of this might sound trivial in PvE, but it does't when you relate it to PvP.
